Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life is an autobiography by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Vlas Parlapanides, the author of Immortals who is said to be working together with her on the film adaptation. Additionally, she's filming an upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
